If weather is changing, feeding less or pause feeding is suggested. For big Koi or solitary Koi, you are suggested to feed Live Origin® Sinking Koi Food.

1. When daily average is above 30℃, young koi will not be influenced greatly by high temperature, feed young koi little and often, but not more than 4 times a day. Feed adult Koi not more than 2 times a day, because adult Koi will east less under high temperature. When Koi is in relatively good condition, please feed small amount of easily digestible food, or feed with lactobacillus. Take necessary measures to avoid temperature raise caused by exposure to direct sun light. When influenced slightly by high temperature, feed young Koi little and often.

2. When daily average is20-30℃, still, feed young Koi little and often, feed adult 2 to 4 times a day. Feeding little often can speed up Koi’s growth. Koi are the most active when daily average falls into this range, you can choose Live Origin® Color Enhancing Koi Food,Live Origin®   Fry Koi Fish Food, or Live Origin® Adult Koi Food. Pay attention to change in water conditions and Koi’s activity and avoid feeding within 1 hour before sunrise or sunset.

3. When temperature is 15-20℃, feed 1 to 2 times, pay special attention to Koi’s activity and  feed Koi when temperature is relatively low in a day. If water temperature is not stable, feed when temperature is relatively high in a day.

5. When the temperature is below15℃, feed less than 2 times a day, pay special attention to Koi activity and avoid feeding when Koi has no appetite. Feed only with Live Origin® Fry Koi Food and other easily digestible fish food. Suggested feeding time: 10am to 2pm
